The Resort

Laganas has a great choice of nightlife, restaurants and family friendly bars, some with karaoke, live entertainment and Greek nights. There are plenty of affordable restaurants to suit all tastes including traditional Greek, English, Chinese, Italian, Thai and Indian cuisines.

The Beach

Laganas is home to the largest beach on the island, 9 km of golden sands with clear warm waters. The beach forms part of the National Marine Park, due to the Loggerhead turtles that nest here and because of this watersports are limited with no speedboats or jet skis allowed and no access to the beach after sunset.

Things To Do

There are numerous excursions and boat trips available including trips to the mainland, the neighbouring island of Kefalonia, the Blue Caves and Smugglers Cove, trips to nearby beaches where full-on watersports are available and glass bottomed boats for turtle-spotting.
