The Beach
Mahdia is famous for having one of the best beaches in Tunisia. The long sandy beach is great for relaxing in the warm sunshine and the crystal clear waters are great for swimming and water sports.
What To Do
Great days out and sight seeing trips to Monastir, Sousse and the amazing Roman amphitheatre at El Jem, and longer day trips to Tunis and ancient Carthage are also well worth a visit.
The Resort
Holidays to Mehdia mainly centre around the beach front, although for a taste of the local life, it is worth a stroll into the old town where there is a maze of narrow cobbled streets and pretty squares with some great local cafes and shops.
