Eating out on Samos offers some amazing traditional cuisines. The traditional dishes of the popular favourites - moussaka, souvlaki, keftedes and the world-famous extravaganza of starters known as a mezes. It always good to ask what not on the menu, this will often produce the local dish of the day.

There are a few disco's dotted around the island and beach side bars are splattered for an ice cold drink.

The locally produced wine is much appreciated and goes down well with the local cuisines.

Nightlife is usually low key with many evenings being spent in local restaurants and tavernas. Sample the local cuisine and the local wine, a perfect end to a perfect day.

Things To Do & Shopping

Spectacular scenery and mountain backdrops. Take a walk to really see the island of Samos.

Shopping will turn up some really really good quality local trinkets. The trinkets include local fresh produces such as olives and olive oil, locally made carpets and rugs, leather goods and jewellery.
