The Resort

Steeped in history, Rhodes Town has a whole host of entertainment options of both the cultural with its medieval walls and holiday fun kind with its shops, harbour and beaches. There are plenty of dining options with a good choice of restaurants, cafes and tavernas to suit all tastes and budgets. Nightlife is busy and lively, with a number of bars and clubs to choose from particularly on the aptly named ‘Bar Street’ and just 50 metres for the harbour there is even a casino.

The Beaches

There’s a choice of two town beaches of shingle and sand both offer a range of watersports, beach bars and tavernas. For more watersport facilities, Mandraki harbour has two diving centres, and offers sailing, glass bottom boats as well as fishing trips.

Things To Do

Many of the islands historic attractions can be found here, from the walled old town to a medieval castle and the 14th century Palace of the Grand Masters. Rhodes Town has a host of shops including chic boutiques, jewellery outlets and souvenirs. Operating throughout Rhodes there are plenty of boat trips available, including excursions to secluded beaches and surrounding islands as well as daily ferries to Marmaris in Turkey. Other sights of interest include the Valley of the Butterflies, the ancient ruins of Kamiros and the Acropolis in Lindos. For a family fun day out, Faliraki is home to the islands waterpark, attractions include slides, a wave pool, a lazy river and a children’s fun pool centred with a pirate ship.
