Lindos Holidays

The traditional village of Lindos has a good selection of bars, tavernas, restaurants and even a few discos to choose from; and its beach has a range of watersports on offer ideal for a relaxed family holiday.

The Village

The pedestrianised village is a maze of narrow cobbled streets, full of craft and souvenir shops, bars, tavernas and restaurants. Lindos is situated below the Acropolis, popular with day-trippers; the Acropolis is only reached by an uphill climb either by foot of donkey.

The Beach

There are three beaches to choose from; Lindos Bay has a sheltered beach of sand and shingle and has a good selection of watersports on offer, the natural harbour of St Pauls Bay to the south and the resort of Vlicha to the north of Lindos are both quieter than the main beach and have fewer services available.

Things To Do

Many of the islands historic attractions are found in the walled capital, Rhodes Town, including a medieval castle, the 14th century Palace of the Grand Masters and much more. Other sights of interest include the Valley of the Butterflies and the ancient ruins of Kamiros. Operating throughout Rhodes there are plenty of boat trips available, from excursions to secluded beaches and surrounding islands as well as daily ferries to Marmaris in Turkey. For family fun visit the waterpark in Faliraki, attractions include slides, a wave pool, a lazy river and a children’s fun pool centred with a pirate ship.
