There is an elegant foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, currency exchange service, room and laundry service and safety deposit boxes. In addition there is a shopping arcade with a variety of boutiques, a gift shop and a beauty and hairdressing salon.

Dining and drinking options include a number of bars and restaurants dotted around the complex (1 buffet restaurant, 4 a la carte restaurants (featuring Italian, Mexican, Chinese and a steak house), 1 fast food restaurant and a beach club with a grill buffet and a pizzeria.

In the tropical gardens, guests will find two pool complexes with integrated children's pools and a jacuzzi. There is also a poolside snack bar and sun terraces furnished with sunbeds and parasols.

Sports enthusiasts may like to try out water aerobics, taster diving (in the pool), floodlit tennis, fitness centre, table tennis, aerobics, archery, beach/pool volleyball and minigolf (some activities include additional charges). A variety of watersports, including windsurfing, is available at the beach.

For the younger guests there is also a playground.

For entertainment, a nightclub and a casino also feature within the hotel. The hotel also provides a daytime and evening entertainment programme with games and live music.

The hotel is surrounded by an impressive golf course and positioned next to the Playa Dorada beach.

The resort of Puerto Plata is just minutes away and the airport is 15 minutes away.

Rooms

The hotel comprises of a total of 489 double rooms spread over a main building and several other buildings positioned by the beach.

All air conditioned rooms feature a ensuite bathroom with hairdryer, direct dial telephone and cable TV. Guests can also hire a safe and cots are available on request.

Kids Club

Kids club activities are offered for children ages 4 to 12 years.

All Inclusive

The All Inclusive package includes all meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) all buffet style in the main buffet restaurant. Snacks from 11am-6pm and 11pm-midnight.

Unlimited locally produced alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks are also included between 10am-12.30am. Juices and wine served with meals.

Sports including table tennis, daytime tennis, basketball, water polo, pool volleyball. Watersports including snorkelling, windsurfing, kayaks, sailing and the Scuba-diving clinic.

Evening entertainment including shows, live music, competitions and merengue classes.
