Facilities

Onsite facilities include a 24 hour reception desk with currency exchange service, safety deposit box, conference room and tour assistance. In addition there is a hair salon, internet access, limited hour room service, laundry service and choice of shops and boutiques.

Guests can dine at the main buffet restaurant, Italian a la carte restaurant (reservations only), Mexican and steakhouse a la carte restaurants (reservations only). There is also a swim up bar, beach bar, karaoke bar and a 24 hour snack bar.

There are two freeform swimming pools with childrens sections which are surrounded by sun terraces furnished with sunbeds and parasols. The hotel also has its own private beach.

Sports facilities include tennis, mini golf, aqua activity centre, volleyball, a fitness centre and there is a choice of watersports at the beach. At the neighbouring Majestic Colonial Resort is a 18 hole golf course.

For the younger guests there are kids club activities.

The hotel is made up of two hotels the Gran Bahia Principe Punta Cana and the Gran Bahia Principe Bavaro, the two hotels share some facilities and restaurants that this large complex has to offer.

The hotel is positioned in tropical gardens and overlooking the stunning white sandy beach.

Rooms

The hotel consists of 708 rooms, of which 12 are wheelchair accessible, and are spread throughout a number of 2-storey buildings.

All rooms are with twin or king size beds and sofa bed, air conditioning, ceiling fan, full bathroom, hairdryer, satellite TV, direct telephone, private safe (extra charge), mini-bar (free), coffeemaker, and terrace or balcony.

All Inclusive

The All Inclusive package includes all meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) all buffet style served in the main restaurant.

The seven a la carte restaurants (Gourmet, Japanese, Mexican, Mediterranean, Italian, steakhouse and seafood) may be booked for three dinners per week of stay.

Hot and cold snacks are available at the Piscis pool bar and Pueblo Principe Burger House (day and night).

Drinks include soft drinks, all national drinks and some international brands (11:00-23:00) and at the Piano Bar (11:00-21:00).

There is also a mini bar with soft drinks, water and beer in each guest room (daily refill); use of sports facilities; entertainment and activities.
