Facilities

Facilities include 24hour reception, currency exchange, lobby lounge, lift access, laundry facilities, private parking and wireless internet access in common areas.

Guests are also provided with a mini-market/gift shop, internet corner, florist, conference facilities and business centre.

Dining options available to guests includes five restaurants of which two are by the pools, a central restaurant for buffet breakfast and dinner along with one for events and one a la carte restaurant. The hotel also features seven bars; two lounge bars, three pool bars, one beach bar and one roof garden bar.

The resort features four large pools along with four children’s pools, all surrounded by sun-terraces with loungers and parasols.

Sport and leisure facilities include a fitness room, beach volleyball court, table tennis, billiards (local charge), table games and darts. As well as a Jacuzzi, steam bath and sauna (charges apply).

Children’s facilities include four pools, a playground, animation program and mini-club for 5-12 year olds. Babysitting service is available on request (local charge).

The daytime animation program includes games, sports and competitions etc, and the evening entertainment features a weekly Greek night and various theme nights twice a week.

Location

The hotel is located on the seafront in a quiet area of Platanias, within walking distance of the picturesque village, shopping facilities, banks and a medical centre.

The village of Platanias a popular holiday destination, still retains its individual charm and hospitality whilst offering a wide range of tavernas, shops, bars and restaurants.

The town of Chania is about 9km from the hotel and Chania Airport is approx 20km away.

Hotel rooms - Palazzo Di Porto

Standard rooms are provided with twin or double beds, en-suite bathroom, hairdryer, individually controlled air conditioning, satellite TV with music channels, direct dial telephone, internet access (ISDN), mini-fridge, safe deposit box and balcony or terrace.

Standard rooms can accommodate up to 3 people.

Maisonettes have split-level rooms consisting of a living room with two sofa-beds on the lower lever and a twin-bedded main bedroom on the upper level, maximum capacity is 4 people.

Family rooms have a bedroom (twin beds) and additional sitting room with sofa-bed, separated by a wooden partition, maximum capacity is 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

Family rooms with private plunge pool are also offered and can accommodate up to 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

Standard suites have a separate sitting room with two sofa-beds, large balconies or terrace, they feature additional CD player and extra amenities. Maximum capacity is 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

Executive suites have a fully equipped kitchenette and dining area, two-sofa beds and extra amenities, maximum capacity is 4 people.

Presidential suites have the same facilities as Executive suites along with two bedrooms and can accommodate up to 6 people.

One-bedroom apartments, maisonettes and suites have the same facilities as studios plus a separate bedroom and lounge with two sofa beds. Suites have a private pool on the terrace. Maximum capacity is 4 people.
