Dining options available to guests include six restaurants offering a variety of cuisines and service; Luna Rosa offers table d’hôte and buffet themed dining along with live music and shows, La Rotisserie offers an exclusive a la carte menu of local and international cuisines, Asiachi offers delicacies from the Far East including a sushi bar, the Byzantium offers all day a la carte and buffet service as well as early children’s meals in an informal atmosphere, the Orangery offers terrace dining next to the pool, and finally La Terrazza outdoor restaurant serves Italian cuisine during the summer months.

The hotel has a bar open from late afternoon until dawn, a lounge bar serving drinks, snacks, teas and coffees, as well as a poolside bar with swim-up bar (summer only).

Leisure facilities include a large free-form outdoor swimming pool with a central island and jacuzzi, an indoor swimming pool (heated in winter), 3 floodlit tennis courts (lessons available, charge applies), table tennis, electronic games, pool tables, fully equipped gym and aerobics studio.

For some relaxation the Amathus Spa & Wellness Centre features a Hydrobath, 2 saunas, Thalassotherapy, Hammam, aromatherapy massage, face and body treatments as well as Reflexology.

Younger guests will enjoy the children’s pool, play area, kid’s club and early meals in selected restaurants. In the room’s children are made welcome with a drink waiting on their arrival, a chocolate at turn down as well as children’s slippers, bathrobes and amenities in the bathroom. Safety covers (plastic) are put on all exposed plug sockets and highchairs are available upon request free of charge.

Babysitting service is available on request subject to a local charge.

The hotel is situated on the beach, within walking distance of the old castle.

Paphos Airport is 20minutes drive away (15km) and Larnaca Airport is around 1hour and 45minutes drive (145km).

Rooms

A total of 273 rooms, made up of 213 standard rooms, 11 family room with inland view, 23 junior suites with inland view, 11 junior suites with sea view and 12 junior suites with private pool, and finally 2 suites and 1 royal suite with private pool.

All rooms are provided with individually controlled air conditioning, international direct dial telephone, mini-bar, safe deposit box, satellite TV, balcony or terrace, hairdryer and en-suite marble bathroom.

Standard rooms can accommodate a maximum of three persons.

Family rooms have an additional double sofa-bed and can accommodate a maximum of three adults or two adults and two children.

Junior suites are more spacious and feature a lounge area with double sofa-bed. Suites can accommodate a maximum of three adults or two adults and two children.

The executive suites are larger in size and feature separate bed and living rooms. These suites can accommodate a maximum of two adults.

Kids Club

The hotel offers two kid’s clubs, the children’s club is for ages 4-12 years and the teenager club is for ages 12-16 years.

The club is staffed with fully trained personnel and is separated into three sections; TV section, area with small tables and chairs for painting and colouring activities, and a play area with high quality toys and play equipment.

The club is open from 09:00 to 18:00, during Easter and Christmas holidays, school half terms and from June till end of August, or at times when the children’s occupancy justifies it.
