the island of Majorca offers a wide range of attractions to suit

Resorts

The resorts in the north of the island, with their long stretches of sandy coastline are ideal for a family holiday, in the east are the quieter resorts of Cala D'or and Camp de Mar, while on the south coast with Magaluf and Palma Nova being more lively and perhaps more suited to families with teenagers and those seeking an active nightlife.

When To Go

During the summer months, there is a wide selection of shops, bars, restaurants and tourist attractions to choose from, although towards the end of October a number of these do close until around Easter time the following year

Things To Do

To help keep the whole family entertained, the island boasts four waterparks; Hidropark in Alcudia, Aqualand in Arenal, Western Waterpark and Aqualand both situated in Magaluf as well as Marineland in Costa d’en Blanes and a Safari Park in Sa Coma. For a fun day out for all the family, whatever your level of riding visit the Rancho Grande in Son Serra, a working horse ranch with horse-riding treks, and for those who don’t ride a horse drawn wagon is also available. Another alternative to a day on the beach is taking the family on the ‘Old Soller Train’ which has run between Palma and the small town of Soller since 1912.
