Windsurfing and watersports are popular here but the island is also good for exploring either by foot or by car. There are many boat trips to the neighbouring islands.
There are both sandy and pebble beaches and there are quieter beaches like Lagada and Dessimi.
Most of the bars and nightlife can be found in Nidri. If however, you wish for a quieter resort then Perigiali and Nikiana might be more suitable.
