Facilities

Amongst the facilities include a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a bank and a hairdresser's salon. In addition there are room and laundry services, onsite shops and a car park.

Dining options include ten a la carte restaurants including those offering Tex-Mex, seafood, Italian and Spanish cuisine. There is also a cafe, buffet restaurant, beachside open air restaurant, Sports bar and an open air bar and lounge.

There is a vast outdoor complex with a upper swimming pool that leads to a thatch-roof, wood-deck dining area that shades the swim-up bar below and a lower pool that offers shade cabanas and a large swim-up bar. Both pools are surrounded by sun loungers and parasols laid out for guests.

There is a wealth of sports activities including canoeing, sailing, fishing, clay pigeon shooting at the Shooting Centre, play tennis at the tennis centre or ride one of the 200 horses at the equestrian centre. There is also a gym and 3 fabulous 18-hole golf courses.

There is a watersports centre on the beach where guests can find snorkelling, kayaks, sailing boats, windsurfers and banana boat rides. A beach hut supplies complimentary balls, games, and beach toys out on hire.

Guests can relax in the Cygalle Healing Spa with its wealth of beauty and massage treatments as well as holistic treatments. There is also a fitness centre.

Guests can try their hand at complimentary activities including bingo and merengue lessons by the pool. There are also moonlight riverboat cruises on the Chavon River, sunset catamaran cruises from the marina and an archeological lecture/tour of caves containing indigenous drawings.

Location

This vast hotel lies amidst sprawling grounds of a vast 28 square kilometres and contains one of Latin America's principal polo complexes, three golf courses, a shooting club, an equestrian centre, a marina village and a replication of a 16th-century Italian village.

The complex also runs a quarter-mile along the Caribbean Sea with a beach dotted with palm trees that offers a water-sports area protected by an artificial reef.

This first-class hotel comprises of several individual villas offering a total of 450 rooms including 150 apartments.

Each of the fabulously equipped, air-conditioned rooms and apartments come with a bathroom and a hairdryer, a minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, a hire safe, a direct dial telephone, a TV and a balcony or terrace.

The apartments additionally feature one or more separate bedrooms.

Kids Club

There are kids club activities with sessions for chidren aged 1–3, 4–7, 8–12, and 13-17. This includes computer games, Internet-connected computers, pool tables, board games, CDs, karaoke, and outdoor volleyball. Fees apply.
