The resort features all the necessary shops; several banks and supermarkets, clothes, jewellery and souvenir shops. Friday mornings there is a large market, situated on the marina side of Puerto Mogan, stalls range from African carvings to jewellery, second-hand books, clothes and leather goods.

The marina gives easy access to fishing trips, yacht charter and catamaran sailing trips to either Puerto Rico or Arguineguin. The resort features a diving centre offering PADI courses and a sailing school, further watersports on offer include jet skis, pedalos and canoe hire.
