Amadores Holidays

A beautiful beach resort, set in the valley and surrounded by hills, with a sheltered bay, clear blue waters and pretty sunsets. Playa de Amadores, translates to Lovers Beach but the low-key night life makes the resort popular with families as well as couples.

The Resort

Amadores enjoys beautiful views over the bay and offers a wide range of accommodation to suit all ages and budgets. There are two shopping centres and a good range of bars and eateries.

The resort is built into the hillsides and there steps and elevators in a few places where a shortcut is needed for easy access the beach. There is also a regular local bus service which runs round the town and into neighbouring resorts.

Beaches

Amadores Beach is a long, sweeping bay of golden sand which gently shelves into the calm, blue waters. The beach is sheltered by two large breakwaters which reach out from either side of the bay and, is backed by a many beach bars and restaurants.

Out & About

You can walk along the cliff top or along the sea front into the larger resort of Puerto Rico (approx 1km) where you will find a marina, a water-park and lively nightlife.

The picturesque harbour at Mogan is approx 11km and the holiday resorts of Maspalomas and Playa del Ingles are approx 19km away. The nearest golf course is approx 1km and there are 3 further golf courses within 20km.
