The Resort

Playa de Esquinzo is a purpose built resort enjoying a peaceful location and mountain views, where you can totally relax and enjoy beach life in the sun.

Water sports are available on the beach and there is a tennis school, a few beach bars and restaurants. Entertainment is mainly hotel based and all the shops and entertainment venues of Jandia are less than 5 minutes drive away if needed.

Beaches

The beach runs for approx 20km from Jandia to Costa Calma and the resort lies next to the wide golden sands of Butihondo Beach and Esquinzo Beach.

Alternative beaches to discover nearby include the long sandy beach at Jandia, the large and remote sands of Cofete and, the famous Sotavento Beach, home to the Rene Egli Surf and Kite Schools and the world championships.

Out & About

The larger resort of Jandia, which has a long, palm-lined main street of shops, bars and restaurants is approx 4km away and the beach resort of Costa Calma is approx. 14km.

Oasis Park is popular day out for adults as well as children and is easily accessible (20km) via shutttle buses. Its attractions include a large animal park, botanical gardens, several shows throughout the day, a kids farm and playground, restaurants and camel safaris.

Ferries to Gran Canaria, fishing trips and scenic boat trips around the southern coastline leave from Morro Jable harbour in Jandia. There are also opportunities for 4x4 and off-road adventures across the dramatic and remote landscapes of the Jandia peninsular.
