Getting About
The area offers some great scenery, one particular route to Corralejo is by the north track, but is best suited to four-wheel drive vehicles.
Eating Out
El Cotillo has some good fish restaurants in the village, as well as a small selection of bars and restaurants, mainly centred round the harbour.
Beaches
To the south of El Cotillo on the cliff side, is the surfing and windsurfing capital of the island – the remote beaches of Playa del Ajibe de la Cueva and the Playa del Aguila. On the east side of the village, lagoons offer safe swimming and even on a busy day they are too big to feel crowded.
