The Resort

Ovacik is situated in Southern Turkey and is one of the quieter resorts, ideal for peace and relaxation. The hotels tend to cater for guests evening entertainment needs with the village itself having a few restaurants and a handful of bars but for livelier entertainment head to nearby Hisaronu, where there are bars and clubs open until the early hours.

The Beach

One of the best beaches in the area is at nearby Olu Deniz, which is approx 4 km. The pebble and sand beach is perfect for sun worshipping and the beautiful clear warm waters are ideal for swimming. Water sports enthusiasts should head to Fethiye where there is a variety of pursuits on offer such as Pedaloes, banana boats, jet skis, sea bikes, wind surfing and water skiing.

What To Do

A great way to get about and see the sights is to hire a bicycle, there are many pretty coastal roads which lead to stunning deserted beaches and bays. There are many excursions which are also a must such as the harbour town of Fethiye with its weekly market, a boat ride to 12 Islands, a multi-day fully-catered gulet cruise along the Turquoise Coast, the mud baths at Dalyan, Butterfly Valley and the sites of Ephesus and Pamukkale.
