The Resort

The pretty village of Fodele is surrounded by orange, lemon and lime groves which help create it's tranquil atmosphere. As well as many bars and restaurants, there are many craft shops dotted around the village. The pretty park next to the village square is the ideal spot for a quiet, relaxing afternoon. All in all, Fodele is a quiet resort for people who just want to chillout and relax.

The Beach

Fodele boasts 2 beaches, the main beach is sandy and lies on a protected bay which is reached from the main road. The second beach is unspoilt and quieter and is reached only from the village.

The main beach offers a range of watersports and a selection of cafes and bars.

Things to Do

Visitors to Fodele can pass the time by simply wandering through the streets, browsing the shops and visiting the many cafes and bars along the way. The village square is home to a statue of the famous Greek painter, Dominikos Theotokopoulos who was born in the village. The house where he was born has been turned into a museum and is very popular.

As well as the many watersports on offer, there is also a waterpark which is situated in one of the hotels and is very popular with both adults and children.
