Things To Do

For a family fun day out the Limnoupolis Waterpark is just 8km from Chania, and has slides, pools, a lazy river and water amusement games.
The Beach
Situated to the west of town is Chania’s sandy beach, with calm and shallow waters the beach is well suited to families. Tourists are well catered for with a selection of bars, cafes and restaurants to choose from.
The City of Chania
Steeped in history, Chania has been ruled by many civilisations throughout the ages and influences of this can be seen in the architecture throughout the city. The Old Town is situated next to the harbour, home to the 15th century lighthouse as well as a good choice of fish restaurants and tavernas.
