The Resort

Beaches

Enjoy a game of volleyball or relax on the sands of Agia Marina beach and go scuba diving in the crystal clear waters of the Cretan Sea.

The beach stretches for approx 2.5km and many watersports are available including snorkelling, jet skiing and banana boats, canoes and paddle boats, windsurfing and parasailing.

Out & About

You can stroll into the neighbouring resort of Platanias (approx 1.5km) where you will find lively nightlife, shops, restaurants and children's entertainment. If you wish to explore further, the regular local bus service provides easy access to the Kissamos (20km) and the historic city of Chania (8km) and its charming Venetian harbour.

For scenic views of the mountains, take a trip to Lake Gournas and stroll around the lake, or go hiking through one of the many gorges, such as the Samaria Gorge, the Imbros Gorge or the Deliana Gorge.

Historical sites of interest include the ruins of Polyrinia (40km) and Kalami Fort (21km) or you could take a boat trip to the beautiful Balos Lagoon from Kissamos harbour.
