There are four main water parks on the island of Crete, three are in the east of the island and one is in the west close to Chania Airport.
Popular excursions available include; a trip to Spinalonga, the island is steeped in history and located just off the coast of Elounda and Agios Nikolaos; the Samaria Gorge, a 16km-long river canyon provides the perfect setting for hiking; and the ruins of Knossos Palace, one of the island's most famous attractions.
