Things To Do

There are plenty of interesting day trips and local excursions to be enjoyed from the resort such as the caves of Nerja or the picturesque mountain village of Frigiliana, alternatively the Axarquia area offers plenty of trails for walkers of varying levels.

For some holiday fun try one of the many water or theme parks situated further along the coast, such as Aqualand in Torremolinos and Tivoli World Amusement Park in Benalmadena.

The Resort

The coastal area of Torrox stretches for 3km, with the promenade being the heart of the resort and home to many shops, bars and restaurants. Torrox is located just 5km from neighbouring Nerja and 47km (about 45mins drive) from Malaga.

The main beach, Playa Ferrara is backed by a pedestrianised promenade which runs the entire length of the beach. There are good facilities here with numerous bars and restaurants, sun-lounger and pedalo hire, and children’s play areas.
