A large resort with many high-rise hotels and apartment blocks, Torremolinos has a wide range of bars, restaurants as well as a throbbing nightlife, attracting visitors of all ages from all over Europe. Torremolinos has a great range of shops; lined with gift shops, boutiques and cafes the pedestrianised Calle San Miguel is at the heart of the shopping centre, or take a walk around the weekly market in the old district, El Calvario, every Thursday.

The Beach

The main and most popular beaches are Playa de Playamar and Playa del Bajondilla to the east of the main town. Numerous Chiringuitos (beach hut restaurants) can be found along the beach as well as wide variety of watersports including windsurfing, paragliding, jet-skis and waterskiing.

Things To Do

There are plenty of entertainment facilities in and around Torremolinos, such as Aquapark, located just 10mins drive from the centre, the water park has various waterslides, a wave pool, children’s area and a mini-golf course, or visit the Crocodile Park situated next to Aquapark. Further amenities include horse-riding, mountain biking, numerous golf courses as well as El Ranchito which offers an Equestrian Show, dinner and Flamenco once a week.
