Corfu Town

Take a walk around Corfu Town the islands capital, steeped in history and guarded by two fortresses it features Venetian houses and alleyways, Byzantine churches and the Palace of St Michael and St George. A wealth of shops and boutiques can be found here, selling everything from jewellery to leather and handicrafts; and on Saturday mornings there’s a market, where alongside fruit and veg, you can also pick up clothes, shoes, hand-crafted jewellery and ceramics.

Things To Do

A variety of excursions are offered on Corfu, from island tours to Greek nights, and boat trips to hidden coves, Paxos Island or the town of Parga on the mainland. On most beaches a wide range of watersports are available, from windsurfing to waterskiing, jet skis, pedalos and boat hire. Corfu also has an 18-hole golf course as well as an aqua park with several slides, children’s pools, a lazy river and a wave pool.

Resorts

Ideal for families of all ages, the popular resort of Sidari has good amenities, sandy beaches and shallow waters as well as a lively nightlife. The small bustling resort of Kassiopi has plenty on offer, with swimming and watersports by day and good tavernas and lively bars by night. Messonghi is a small quiet resort, well suited for those looking for a laid back beach holiday, with all amenities available close by.
