Facilities

Onsite facilities include a 24 hour reception desk with currency exchange service, hotel safe, lift and conference centre. In addition there is a gift shop, internet kiosk, laundry service and car rental desk.

Guests can dine at the Almond Tree restaurant, beach bar, and additional dining can be found at the adjacent plaza.

There are two swimming pools and a childrens pool which are surrounded by sun terraces furnished with sunbeds and parasols.

Sports facilities include a fitness centre, beach tennis, jacuzzi, pool tables, giant chess and a choice of watersports can be found at the beach.

A babysitting service is available on request.

The hotel also provides seasonal evening entertainment including the weekly manager's rum punch party.

Location

The hotel is set in 5.5 acres of lush tropical gardens and on the beautiful sandy Palm Beach.

The capital of Bridgetown is only 5 minutes away where there is an abundance of duty free shopping and close to all the attractions of the South Coast including bars, restaurants and nightclubs.

The Resort is also a partner hotel of the Barbados Golf Club, the 18 hole championship course (discounts and preferential tee times given to guests).

The airport transfer time is 20 minutes.

Please note that some road works are taking place near the property. All heavy works are now over and only some finishing touches are left to be done. The project is scheduled to be complete by December 2009. All facilities of Amaryllis Beach Resort are fully operational.

Rooms

The hotel consists of 150 rooms and studios which are spread over three 3-storey buildings.

Each of the rooms comes with a bathroom with shower or bath, a hairdryer, a double or king-sized bed and air conditioning (centrally regulated). In addition there is a satellite TV, a radio, a minibar, a coffee machine (coffee is also available from the 24-hour shop), ironing equipment and a hire safe. A balcony or terrace is also standard.

Studios also feature a kitchenette.

The All Inclusive information is a guide only and may be subject to change and/or availability.

The AI programme consists of breakfast (07:30-10:30, buffet), lunch (from snack menu) and dinner (19:00-21:30, four times a week as A la Carte & once weekly as buffet).

Breakfast & dinner are served in The Almond Tree restaurant & terrace; lunch at the Turtle Nest beach bar. Sunday lunch buffet takes place from 12:30-15:00 at The Almond Tree. The rest two days The Almond Tree is closed for dinner, Turtle Nest is open with buffet setting.

Snacks from buffet are available between 11:00 & 21:30 at the Turtle Nest (last order at 20:45); happy hour is from 12:30-13:30 & 17:30-18:30. Other happenings include Pirate’s night buffet (every Wednesday), Passoa Luau grill with Karaoke (every Saturday) and Manager’s cocktail party & craft show (every Tuesday from 18:30-19:30).

Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks like house branded vodka, brandy, scotch, rum, cocktails, house wine by the glass and soft beverages are served at the Turtle Nest beach bar (11:00-21:30) and the Almond Tree pool bar (11:00-23:00).
