Facilities within the complex include a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, currency exchange service, internet access, room and laundry services and concierge services. There is also gift shops, a library, an amphitheatre, conference services, nightclub and a TV room.

Dining options include a main open air buffet restaurant and two a la carte restaurants (dress code applies). There are also 3 bars.

The lagoon style pool has an island and swim-up bar and is surrounded by sunbeds and thatched roof palapas for shade. Sunloungers are also laid out at the beach.

Sports facilities include floodlit tennis, volleyball, bocce, ball courts, mini golf, basketball, volleyball and aerobics. Watersports can be found at the beach and there is a onsite diving centre which can arrange lessons and courses.

Those seeking some pampering make pay a visit to the in-house health Spa with a hairdresser's salon, saunas, spa tubs and choice of face and beauty treatments.

For the younger guests there is a kids pool, playground and children can participate in the kids club activities.

The hotel also provides a daytime and evening entertainment programme with live music, shows and a weekly cocktail party.

The hotel is set on the beachfront and within easy reach of some of the top dive sites.

The hotel is also positioned within walking distance from the Eastern National Park, one of the biggest archaeological sites on the island.

Rooms

This Mexican-style hotel comprises of 532 rooms spread over several 2-storey buildings and various villas which are set amidst the hotel's fabulous tropical gardens.

All air conditioned rooms feature a ensuite bathroom with bath/shower combination, hairdryer, cable TV, telephone with voicemail and a balcony or patio. In addition there is a hire safe and mini bar with beers and soft drinks.

Kids Club

A kids club caters for those aged between 4 and 12 years of age (entertainment and childcare from 9 am until 5 pm).

All Inclusive

The All Inclusive package includes all meals and snacks (breakfast, lunch and dinner) buffet style and served in the main restaurant.

Unlimited Dominican and selected alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages as well as house wine, soft drinks, beer (two per day) and water.

Most land sports are included as is the kids club.

Spa treatments, scuba diving, motorised watersports and babysitting are not included.
