With many beaches sweeping around the island, there are many opportunities to savour the surroundings. Mainly pebbles and some sand, the beaches offer clear safe waters for swimming. Many beaches on Samos Island have the E.U Blue Flag Award.

Eating out on Samos offers some amazing traditional cuisines. The traditional dishes of the popular favourites – moussaka, souvlaki, keftedes and the world-famous extravaganza of starters known as a mezes. It always good to ask what not on the menu, this will often produce the local dish of the day.
There are a few disco's dotted around the island and beach side bars are splattered for an ice cold drink.
The locally produced wine is much appreciated and goes down well with the local cuisines.
Nightlife is usually low key with many evenings being spent in local restaurants and tavernas. Sample the local cuisine and the local wine, a perfect end to a perfect day.
