Nightlife is low-key here, with a small selection of traditional tavernas and restaurants to choose from offering both Greek and international cuisines as well as a handful of bars. For a livelier evenings entertainment both Faliraki and Rhodes Town are just a short bus or taxi ride away.

The sand and shingle beach has a wide variety of watersports on offer; a popular area for scuba diving the resort also has a dive centre.

For family fun visit the waterpark in Faliraki, attractions include slides, a wave pool, a lazy river and a children’s fun pool centred with a pirate ship. Many of the islands historic attractions are found in the walled capital, Rhodes Town, including a medieval castle, the 14th century Palace of the Grand Masters and much more. Other sights of interest include the Valley of the Butterflies, the ancient ruins of Kamiros and the Acropolis in Lindos. Operating throughout Rhodes there are plenty of boat trips available, from excursions to secluded beaches and surrounding islands as well as daily ferries to Marmaris in Turkey.
