Santa Ponsa has two annual fiestas, the first being Santa Rocio, a five day Andalucian Religious Festival, starting the first weekend in June. The second is the Fiesta of Rei en Jaume, a two week fiesta, around the 1st of September to commemorate the landing and conquering of Mallorca. The fiesta peaks with a procession through the streets, followed by a mock battle between the Moors and Christians on the beach, then a rock concert and ends with a grand fireworks display.
