Porto Colom

Porto Colom is a classic beach resort that'll appeal to sunbathers, watersports-lovers and families alike. Everything here revolves around the magnificent main Cala Marcal Beach where you'll find soft, gently-shelving sands and shallow aquamarine waters perfect for little swimmers and paddlers. The beach is furnished with sunloungers and sunshades. You'll find a modest selection of beach shops, bars and restaurants sprinkled amongst the villas and hotels above the beach, but apart from that, there's little else here to disturb this scenic resort.

There are also beaches at S'Arenal gran and S'Arenal petit and a car journey away is Cala Sa Nau.

Local buses are perfect for exploring and will whisk you to the Sunday market in nearby Felanitx or hop on a bus to the cosmopolitan capital of Palma.

Other excursions include trips to the Caves of Hams or the nearby Drach Caves or the Aquarium de Mallorca.
