Tingaki

The main street in Tingaki is lined with bars, tavernas and restaurants, offering something to suit most tastes and budgets. Nightlife is low-key here with just a few bars open till late, for a more lively choice, Kos Town is just a short bus or taxi ride away.

The long sandy beach gently shelves into the sea, ideal for families with younger children, while the great selection of watersports and fun rides make it suitable for all ages. There are plenty of sun-loungers and parasols for hire as well as many tavernas, bars and restaurants close by.

Kos offers a wide variety of activities and sites of interests from waterparks to roman ruins, beaches and even a natural thermal spa. A range of boat trips are available on Kos including a trip to Nissyros Island, famous for its active volcano, scuba diving and trips to out of reach beaches. There are daily ferries to Bodrum in Turkey as well as the other larger islands of the Dodecanese. Take an excursion to Asclepion, the most significant archaeological site on the island, once a sanatorium from 500BC to 500AD.
