Kos offers a wide variety of activities and sites of interests from waterparks to roman ruins, beaches and even a natural thermal spa. A range of boat trips are available on Kos including a trip to Nissyros Island, famous for its active volcano, scuba diving and trips to out of reach beaches. There are daily ferries to Bodrum in Turkey as well as the other larger islands of the Dodecanese. Take an excursion to Asclepion, the most significant archaeological site on the island, once a sanatorium from 500BC to 500AD.
