Ideal for a relaxing beach holiday, Psalidi has a sand and shingle beach, besides which are a small selection of traditional tavernas and restaurants. A range of watersports are on offer including windsurfing, waterskiing, sailing, jet-skis, canoes and pedalos. The nightlife is low-key with a selection of bars, tavernas and restaurants to choose from, for more entertainment options Kos Town is just a short taxi ride away.

Kos Town is just a few kilometres away and has a host of cultural and archaeological sights, like the Castle of the Knights of St John and the world famous ‘tree of Hippocrates’. A range of boat trips are available including a trip to Nissyros Island, famous for its active volcano, scuba diving and trips to the surrounding coastline. There are daily ferries to Bodrum in Turkey as well as the other larger islands of the Dodecanese. Take an excursion to Asclepion 4km away, the most significant archaeological site on the island, once a sanatorium from 500BC to 500AD; or visit the Kos Thermes, 12km south east of Kos town, a sea pool with hot springs is located at the end of a long pebble beach.
