You can also enjoy horse riding, fishing and decent walking in the green hills that surround Kriopigi beach. Other tours excursions include tours of inland mountain villages, the monasteries of Athos (men only), boat trips to Mount Athos and the Petralona Caves.
There is a regular bus service that runs from Kriopigi beach to Thessalonica for shopping and museums. Buses also run to Paliouri on the tip of the peninsular.
