The Beach - Less
Divided into four areas, the first being ideal for families, the second and fourth are designated nudist beaches and the third is popular with the gay community. The usual amenities are available; sun loungers and parasols for hire, watersports include windsurfing and paragliding to scuba diving, as well as lots of beach bars, restaurants and shops.

Maspalomas has a wide selection of restaurants to choose from with a variety of international cuisines; many double as bars and provide live entertainment in the evenings.
Theme Parks - More
Maspalmos has the largest waterpark on the island, Aquasur, open daily the waterpark has 33 slides and 13 attractions including a wave pool. Holiday World leisure and amusement park, the major attractions here are open 6pm-midnight and includes a bowling alley, amusement arcade as well as two night clubs; open throughout the day are a wellness centre with health spa and gym, a boating lake, children’s playground, pony riding and karting track.
Not far from Maspalomas is Palmitos Park which features over 200 species of birds, an aquarium, butterfly house, cacti garden and an orchid house.
