Fuengirola

One of the regions most popular resorts, particularly with British and Spanish holidaymakers, Fuengirola has all the ingredients for a relaxing family holiday. There are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from sure to suit all tastes and budgets.

Fuengirola has 7km of sandy beach stretching either side of the busy marina, with plenty of watersports and ‘Chiringuito’ beach bars to choose from. The beach is backed by a wide promenade lined with bars, cafes and restaurants serving everything from traditional Spanish to international fare.

The marina is the main spot for sporting activity, the Fuengirola Diving Centre and Club Nautico provide facilities for a wide range of watersports including sailing, windsurfing, jet and water skiing as well as scuba diving and fishing. For a family day out visit the Fuengirola Zoo or the Mijas Aqua Park, it offers a range of water slides, a wave pool, jacuzzi and children’s pool. For further amenities take a trip to neighbouring Benalmadena, it features the Sea Life Aquarium, the Tivoli World Amusement Park, the Selwo Marina as well as the aerial cable car.
