The Costa del Sol stretches for just over 150km, as far as Nerja in the east and just beyond Estepona in the west. Along the coastline are some of Spain’s most popular and renowned resorts such as Marbella, Torremolinos and Fuengirola.
Things To Do
There’s a wide choice of entertainment options of the cultural and holiday fun kind, ranging from historical cities and villages to water parks, theme parks and dolphin safaris. For culture and history spend a day enjoying the many sights of Malaga which include a cathedral, several churches, museums and the Moorish Alcazaba fortress. Alternatively take a day trip to a Spanish City such as Seville, Cordoba, Ronda or Granada with their Moorish palaces and cobbled streets. The Costa del Sol has every kind of watersport imaginable from diving to parasailing and pedalos to sailing. Throughout the region there are around 70 golf courses to choose from, as well as great opportunities to enjoy cycling, mountain biking, walks, hiking and horse-riding.
