Situated just 35 km from the airport, this small resort has a warm and friendly atmosphere and is a popular choice for families with small children. The resort has a good choice of restaurants and bars, although does offer a slightly quieter night life than some of the other resort, for lively nights out Kavos is a good choice.

The resort has two main beaches which are superb for lazy days relaxing in the sunshine and are mainly sandy and un-crowded. With safe shallow calm waters they offer a great place for children to play and paddle. Water sports are also available for those feeling slightly more energetic, such as jet skiing, paragliding and snorkelling are available.

If you can tear yourself away from the beach, there are many excursions and sightseeing trips. Boat trips to Paxos Island are always popular and a good way to explore the area and secluded traditional villages within the countryside is to hire a bicycle.
